Details
EverFlame reproduces the movement of a real flame using flickering LEDs behind a diffuser, and movement is what makes the difference. A static warm light reads immediately as a lamp; a light that shifts and flickers reads as fire, and the eye responds to it differently. On a patio table, a step, a porch or a garden path, it gives the atmosphere of candlelight with none of the wax, wind or risk.
Because it is solar powered, the lantern is completely self-contained. A panel in the top charges through daylight and a sensor brings it on as dusk falls, so there is no cable, no socket and no switch to remember on the way out. That freedom means it can sit at the far end of a garden, on a boundary wall or beside a seating area well away from the house.
It is a genuinely safer alternative to open-flame candles and torches around decking, dry planting, children and pets, which is the practical reason many people buy one. The housing is built for normal outdoor rain exposure but is not designed for submersion. Position the panel in open daylight rather than under a canopy, and expect shorter run times through winter and after overcast days.
