Solstice Solar Up & Down Wall Light

The Solstice Wall Light throws light in two directions at once, sending a cone up the wall and a second one down it. That double wash is what gives a plain garden wall, porch or fence panel a finished architectural look after dark, and it is a far more flattering effect than a single downward floodlight, which tends to leave the upper wall in shadow.

Because the unit is solar powered, there is no cable to route and no supply to connect. An integrated panel charges through the day and the light comes on automatically at dusk, which makes it practical on boundary walls, outbuildings and garden structures where mains power was never run. Fixing is a matter of two screws into the wall face.

Packs of one, two, three and four are available, and there is a good reason to buy in multiples: a row of identical fixtures spaced evenly along a wall reads as deliberate design, where a single unit reads as a utility light. Output and run time depend on daily sun exposure, so mount where the panel gets direct light and expect shorter run times in winter. The housing is weather resistant for normal outdoor exposure but is not rated for submersion.
