Aurora RGB Corner Floor Lamp, 120cm

The Aurora Corner Floor Lamp is a slim vertical tube that lights the part of a room most lamps ignore. Standing 120cm tall on a weighted base, it tucks into a corner behind a sofa, desk or bed and washes the adjoining walls with colour, giving a room depth without occupying useful floor space. The diffuser is frosted rather than clear, so you see a smooth column of light instead of individual diodes.

The full RGB range covers everything from a single saturated accent colour to slow drifting transitions and a music-reactive mode that follows room audio. It has become a fixture of gaming and streaming setups for exactly that reason, but dialled down to a low warm setting it works just as well as ambient evening light in a living room or bedroom.

Control is through the companion app or the bundled remote, with brightness, colour and speed all adjustable. Two configurations are available so you can match the output and control set to the room. The lamp is powered by a standard plug-in adaptor and is intended for indoor use on a level surface, positioned where the cable will not be walked on. Position the base far enough from curtains and soft furnishings to allow air to circulate around the tube during long sessions.
