Scoon is the most practical lamp in the cordless range and the easiest to place. The compact form and neutral coconut finish mean it can sit on a desk, a bedside table, a kitchen shelf or a bathroom counter without announcing itself, and the absence of a cable removes the usual argument about where the nearest socket happens to be.

It works particularly well as a desk lamp in a home office, where a trailing lead across a work surface is a genuine nuisance and sockets are usually already occupied by a laptop and a monitor.
